Noelle McEachran
Content Writer. Creative Writer. Editor.
Tell a story with your brand they can’t put down.
My Approach
Storyteller
A masterful writer weaves stories into any medium, tugging at invisible emotional chords and skillfully forming story-grip. Most copywriters promise to tell your story—but many don’t actually know the rudiments of storytelling. Stories are my first love, having been trained both in undergrad and graduate school and as a hobby verging on obsession.
Writer
The truth is, there are no shortcuts to excellent writing. Sidestepping well-worn, clichéd paths and avoiding overdone tropes requires discipline over the long haul. I bring maturity, a seasoned use of taste and judgment, and a balance of style and finesse.

Blue Zone Marketing
As a Copywriter for Blue Zone Marketing, I wrote error-free, research-based, and SEO-driven blogs for 15+ clients on a monthly basis. My clients included marketing agencies, marketing software, financial institutions, home improvement, private security, and more. I wrote every blog for Blue Zone prior to February 1st, 2025—you can find the blog page here.
-
I wrote 30+ blogs per month, starting from the initial idea stage of SEO/keyword topic selection through blog and copywriting, including researching/citing sources and back-linking.
-
I edited both my blogs and my teammate’s blogs on a monthly basis.
-
I managed multiple projects for around 15 separate clients at a time, from idea to completion. This included completing projects on time and taking on extra projects such as web copy and an e-book.
“At Blue Zone Marketing, we’ve seen it all when it comes to social media. With years of experience in the digital marketing arena, we’ve pinpointed two major mistakes that marketers make when approaching social media:
1. Underestimating Social Media’s Power
We get it. Not so long ago, social media was just a way to stay in touch with friends or share snapshots from your kid’s dance recital. Fast-forward to today, and it’s a core pillar of modern marketing. Ignoring social media today is like refusing to put up a storefront sign — it’s a missed opportunity to connect with your audience.”
“Are hashtags dead? Let’s be honest—hashtags have been ridiculed, celebrated, ignored, revived, and endlessly debated by influencers, marketers, and your average social media user. Yet, what once seemed like a fleeting trend has proven surprisingly resilient. At Blue Zone Marketing, we know hashtags aren’t just a flash in the pan; they’re a powerful tool for driving growth on social media — when used wisely.”
SEO Unleashed: How to Hack Your Way to the Top of Google
“Over a third of all Google search traffic goes to the first result on page one. If your business isn’t showing up in the top few search results, you’re leaving valuable traffic — and potential revenue — on the table. At Blue Zone Marketing, we don’t just talk about SEO; we live it. When it comes to online marketing, there is a lot of truth to the saying: “Your business isn’t what you say it is — it’s what Google says it is.””

AI Do’s and Don’ts for Digital Marketing: Maximizing Your Strategy
“AI has shaken up the way businesses and marketing teams operate in the last few years. It’s no secret that artificial intelligence is causing a wave of change, transforming everything from content creation to customer interactions. Some people love it, others are skeptical, but no one can deny its massive impact.”
“When it comes to digital marketing, you can count on one constant: change. It’s no secret that strategies that worked wonders a decade ago may be completely outdated today. Smart marketers understand that to keep their brands relevant, they need to balance tried-and-true techniques with forward-thinking insights. At Blue Zone Marketing, we’ve mastered this balance by staying attuned to both the practices that have brought us and our clients success while keeping a vigilant eye on the trends shaping the future.”

Jane Austen's Swift Backhand
In 2020, yet another film adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel Emma hit theaters. That her books (even without the added zombies) are still bestsellers and still regularly made into movies begs an obvious question: why are novels where the only action scenes amount to one character taking “a brisk walk out of doors” still so popular?
While her stories are elegant, conversation-heavy, and deceptively simple, their impact doesn’t lie in the fact that romance and marriage are recurring topics. Many adaptations belie the fact that, even with our present case of ‘Jane Mania’, we still don’t get her.
I sold two freelance articles to an established literary blog.
The Abolition of Women
How C. S. Lewis predicted today’s feminist crises.
When Taylor Swift turned thirty, an interviewer asked if she planned to have children. Offended, Swift quipped, “I really don’t think men are asked that question. So I'm not going to answer that.”
While Swift didn’t necessarily condemn childbearing, her response was an automatic one for most women today. Today’s third-wave feminists are not against having kids the same way first and second-wave feminists were.
“I was honored to feature Noelle as a guest author for my publication. She picked the perfect topic and nailed it. Her clarity, word choice, and turns of phrase work together for an articulate message and a smooth read. When I gave her feedback, her edits were prompt, thoughtful, and just what I needed. She’s at the top of my roster for writers I’d hire again.”

My Blog
For over four years, I’ve maintained a blog with articles exploring the crossroads of faith, politics, culture, and literature.
Your Kids are Not Hurting (and Self-Esteem is Not the Answer)
“Is "Compassion" Destroying our Children?”
Japanese Candy and Airport Nuns
How to create a joyful family.
But First, Dragons
“As parents, we are quick to arm our kids against unhealthy foods, unsafe environments, and childhood illnesses. But so many parents seem entirely unaware of and unconcerned about perhaps the biggest darkness our children will face—the darkness all around them.
As soon as kids understand anything at all, they understand trouble. As soon as they face the hard, cold reality of a playroom with three kids and only one light-up toy, they understand. Something wicked this way comes.”
Free Guy: The Tyranny of Equality
“Free Guy is all about a bid for freedom against oppression. What’s incredibly ironic is that, in this movie, the oppression is not coming from the patriarchy or from a bloated or powerful upper class - it’s coming mostly from a bunch of kids and gamers - all of whom are “doing whatever they want.””
Need a Copywriter?
What to Look for in a Copywriter (and What You Should Avoid!)
Finding skillful writers seems harder than ever. AI-generated filler, forgettable white noise, and subpar work dominate Google, creating a mind-dulling echo chamber. By contrast, a masterful writer weaves stories into any medium, tugging at invisible emotional chords and skillfully forming story grip.
Locating such writers, however, is not so easy. Many business owners don’t even know what to look for. I get it. You’re likely not a writer. That’s not why you got into your profession. That’s not why you followed your dream of opening a health and wellness clinic or inventing toothpaste made from kelp.
What’s the Problem?
Business owners and managers often search for professionals with similar accolades to their own. Usually, that’s a fine idea—business is business. But when it comes to writing, you must add more to the list. The same skills you might value in a bank loan officer or a tech startup founder do not necessarily apply.
Writing is more than a job—it’s a craft. Even copywriting.
Here’s what I mean.
“Even a kindergartner recognizes an effective story because it’s built into the architecture of the brain.”
